Beginning Again

Wow…it’s been a little over a year since my last post. For some reason, I thought it had been longer, but that’s the funny thing about time. There are moments that feel too long and others that don’t feel long enough. You know, I thought so long about what to write when I decided to blog again. Various ideas ran through my mind over and over and over. Where do I start? How do I start? Should I even start? After all, it’s been over a year.

It’s this pattern of thinking that makes us overcomplicate matters and eventually persuade ourselves into never starting anything. Look, I say this to myself, just as much as I’m saying it to you—JUST START! I mean my blog is called “Random Thoughts with Debs” for Christ’s sake! Random. Thoughts. Needless to say, I was definitely overcomplicating this. {Insert facepalm here.} So now, I present a challenge to you. What have you been hesitant to start?

From one person who wanted to give up to another, I ask, won’t you reconsider beginning again? Please? Not for me or anyone else for that matter, but for YOU. I know life happens, most of the time in ways that are beyond your control. Factors come into play that causes a new beginning to be way down on the priority list. I get it, but it’s still on the list though, right? So maybe…just maybe…you haven’t completely given up on it.

I hope you start again. Whatever it is, I sincerely hope you start again. Just know you’ve got an unintended cheerleader with a coffee addiction over here wishing the best for you. So go ahead, begin again!
