Burgers on Burgers

There’s no disagreement that I truly enjoy food and lately I’ve been getting more into making my own. It’s a way to save money which is essential these days. However, there is one little detail that I’ve adamantly refuted over the years. Do you know what it is? Well, it’s my love for burgers. Now, rumor has it that my affection for this particular food borders on obsession. Perhaps the day has come to either deny or confirm this rumor…it’s not today, though.

So, how do you enjoy a burger? What do you look for that makes you completely satisfied with it? For me, it’s the combination of seasoned meat, melted cheese, and toppings. Thankfully, there are plenty of restaurants and fast food spots that get this combination perfectly. But as I said, saving money is necessary, so learning to make burgers has become an ongoing project. Also seeing that the world is still being bullied by Covid, this just seems like the better route. You guys have any tips for me? I would love to hear them!
By the way, no, my blog has not turned into a cooking show, just sticking to the spirit of random thoughts. Additionally, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with eating out, either, when it’s done in moderation. In fact, I’d like to share a few of my personal favorite burger places. Mind you, these are in Texas, so hopefully, there’s an equivalent if you live elsewhere.
If I had to choose a top three, they would be Shake Shack, Whataburger, and P. Terry’s Burger Stand. I once read that Shake Shack started out in New York, that’s so cool! You might be thinking “Whataburger? That’s so Texan of you.” Listen, though! When it comes to my ideal combination in a burger, these three nail it every time. I do like other places, too, but these are at the top. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a Favor order to put in. Don’t judge me, it’s Friday!
